On my trip to France I visited the famous Viaduc de Millau, and was just amazed by the sheer size of it. Le Viaduc de Millau is nestled in the Valley of the River Tarn and towers over the nearby town of Millau.
Unfortunately it was very cold there and the sky was bland, so I used levels and some dramatic lighting to increase the contrast and create something a little more interesting.

I was recently in France (about 2 months ago) and I toured around the southern country side for a week, snapping away at the amazing medieval towns dotted around the stunning Loire Valley. My absolutely favourite town that I stayed at on my way to Paris was Amboise!

Have you ever taken a picture (with the Flash) at night or in a very dark place, well then you might know what its like to get a photo of people with red eyes, and how frustrating it can be if that’s the only photograph you have of that particular time. You may never have thought that the aperture or the diameter of the Iris in your camera is not only for controlling the amount of light that passes through to your sensor or film, but how you control your Depth of Field (D.O.F) in your photos.
Smaller Aperture = Larger D.O.F
