Looking back on some older photographs from Toulouse, France – I found these shots of a discrete church on the streets by the river Garonne. They aren’t great photos but, I do like the lighting and grungy feeling of them :)

Up in country Victoria a couple weeks back – just great to see all the gum trees ‘furry’ with leaves as they rejuvenate since the February ’09 Bushfires. I had the Canon 5D Mark II with me so I was testing all the features and the full frame is really sweet, was about a metre away from this cottage chimney and was able to take a snap with minimal lens distortion! I thought black and white suited well, what do you think – original just below?

This shot consists of seven photographs, all stitched together to form a panorama of the Melbourne CBD. I was standing on the Southbank side of the Yarra River just in-front of South Gate Plaza.

Flinders Street Station is probably photographed hundreds of times a day, but it is at night when it’s best to photograph. I took this at 11pm last weekend, and the streaming car-lights and the warm tones of the building makes it look great by night. I have stacked two photos here to capture both turning and straight-on headlights, and only cropped slightly on the edges to centre the building more, otherwise no more post-processing was needed!
