Trick Photography eBook – Review
I recently received a copy of Evan Sharboneau’s eBook ‘Trick Photography and Special Effects‘, and discovered many new photography techniques that I had never seen before or had never knew were possible! Evan has made an easy to read ebook that contains plenty of visual inspiration for the more creative minded and is aimed at all level of photographers! There is a wide range of techniques to pick from and are all unique, avoiding the off chance you become bored!
A part from all the great techniques, there is one major advantage that an eBook has over your average paper hard cover – is the ability to bring the glossary of terms to you in the matter of a *Click*! Evan has done all the research for you and hyper-linked all the words and key points so you don’t have to go googling and lose interest!
Here are some highlights of the Trick Photography eBook!
Part 1: Long Exposure Effects and Light Painting
- Light Painting is great fun! Whenever I find myself waving torches around I seem to just make crazy exposures, like below, but with the inspiration and direction of Evan’s eBook I think I’ll have the knowledge to make some really interesting shots as seen above my Evan!
Part 2: Trick Photography and Special Effects
- Here is my quick attempt at this trick effect, something I have been wanting to do for a along time, but did not know how! Now with the help of Evan’s short instructions I’ve managed to produce an ok result!
Part 3: Photoshop Projects
- Photoshop is becoming more and more a part of a photographers routine, but Evan’s eBook looks at more than just a few simple Hue-Saturation shifts and explores the radical manipulations of photos like the one shown above! Evan has made several Photoshop projects for any level of Photoshopper to have a go at and are clearly set out!
I have been browsing through this eBook for a while now and already it has helped bring back inspiration for the unique and extraordinary aspects of photography and motivated me to do more!
